Kelly Schlicht is a general assignment reporter for FOX 11. She comes to FOX 11 from WEAU 13 news in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Kelly is a graduate of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She was busy with internships at WISN 12 in Milwaukee, WKOW 27 and WISC 3 in Madison, and Good Morning America in New York City.
While Kelly worked in Eau Claire she volunteered at the Boys & Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley. There she headed a youth video production program called “Lights, Camera, Action!” In May of 2011, Kelly was honored to receive the Volunteer of the Year Award for the club.
Besides watching news and digging up stories, Kelly enjoys watching Brewers baseball, volunteering, swimming, baking, and playing the violin. A native of West Allis, Wisconsin, Kelly frequently visits the Milwaukee area to spend time with her family. She looks forward to exploring Northeast Wisconsin and seeing all it has to offer.
