Evan Perrault

Evan Perrault is a general assignment reporter in the FOX 11 Valley Newsroom, covering the Appleton, Oshkosh and Fond du Lac areas.

He joined FOX 11 News in July 2007.  Prior to that he worked as the Northwoods Reporter in Eagle River for WAOW-TV, the ABC affiliate in Wausau.

Evan graduated Summa Cum Laude and with University Honors from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in December 2006.  He double-majored in broadcast journalism and political science.  While at the University he served as the president of his campus chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.  The journalism faculty also selected him as their department's outstanding senior.  Evan completed two internships; his first at WJFW-TV in Rhinelander, and his second at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

In 2003 Evan graduated valedictorian from Germantown High School in Germantown, Wisconsin.  It was there he got the journalism bug by reading the morning announcements and also competing in the radio broadcasting category in forensics.

During his time away from reporting, you can usually find Evan at the gym, at home reading books by his favorite author Sinclair Lewis or playing his acoustic guitar.
