Michelle Melby

Michelle joined the WLUK team in March 2007. She is the co-anchor for FOX 11 News at Five, and FOX 11 News at Nine.

Michelle and her husband are the proud parents of two young children, Mikayla Michelle and Jonah Bradley. Michelle's husband is a native of Green Bay, and a photojournalist in the market.

Michelle attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, and earned a B.A. in Journalism. She began her career in her home state of North Dakota, as a weekend anchor for KXMC-TV. Soon after, Michelle was promoted to weekday evening news anchor. In 2001 she landed in Green Bay, and was an anchor/reporter in the market for five years. She has earned several awards for her work, both in North Dakota and Wisconsin.

Michelle is excited to join the FOX 11 family, "It's great to be part of a team, dedicated to bringing balanced news coverage to the viewers of northeast Wisconsin. It is truly a privilege to tell the stories that matter most."

In her spare time, Michelle is involved in figure skating...and enjoys helping area skaters go for their dreams. On the weekends, she can be found near the waters of Eagle River, or Sister Bay. She also enjoys rollerblading, snow skiing, and golfing with her husband.

And on gameday...the whole family gets together, to cheer on their favorite team, the Packers!
