Rachel Manek

Rachel Manek is part of the team that brings you the number one morning news program, Good Day Wisconsin. Rachel serves as the show's news anchor.

Rachel grew up in Appleton and graduated from Appleton East High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Valparaiso University in Indiana. During her junior year of college, Rachel studied at the University of Paris-Sorbonne.

After graduation Rachel worked as a general assignment reporter for KHQA-TV in Quincy, Illinois. After a year she moved on to WAOW-TV in Wausau where she was a reporter and weekend anchor.

In her spare time, Rachel likes to travel. She has been all over the world, including Sweden, Italy and India where she has family. She also enjoys books, movies, and a lot of TV!

Rachel and her husband John are the proud parents of two daughters, Isabella and Zoe.
