Robert Hornacek is a reporter who focuses on stories for FOX 11 On Special Assignment.
Robert originally joined FOX 11 News 1999 as a general assignment reporter. After more than a decade covering the news in Northeastern Wisconsin, Robert left to become the News and Media Relations Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. In 2011, after less than a year, Robert returned to FOX 11 to work on special projects.
Robert grew up in Mequon, Wisconsin and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/ Broadcast Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Before coming to FOX 11, Robert worked as a reporter at KTEN-TV in Denison, Texas. He also interned at WITI-TV in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Robert and his wife Jennifer have four sons. Robert enjoys running, playing and coaching baseball and spending time with his family.
