Associated Press names FOX 11 "Best Newscast"

Station nets three awards

WLUK FOX 11 won "Best Newscast" in the 2012 Associated Press Broadcast Journalism Excellence Awards contest.

The winning newscast was FOX 11 News at Nine from March 23, 2011, when Winter Storm Francesca hit Northeast Wisconsin.

FOX 11 competes in Division 2, which is comprised of stations in the Green Bay and Madison markets.

Besides Best Newscast, FOX 11 was honored for Plowing Through Wisconsin Winters as best documentary and Packers-Vikings Rivalry in Jeopardy won for best series reporting.
