TOWN OF LEDGEVIEW - The line of voters filled the Ledgeview town hall 15 minutes before the polls opened at 7:00 Tuesday morning.
"I consider it a privilege," said Caroline Tromble of Ledgeview. "I've voted in every presidential election I've been able to."
"I needed to leave for work by 7:30 a.m., so I needed time," said Ted Tromble. "And this is important to me."
With its growing population, Ledgeview had to be extra-prepared for this year's election with more poll workers, voting booths and line control.
Deputy clerk Nancy Hawley urged voters to be patient.
"Please remember it's an important presidential election," she said. "Everyone in the area may be going through the same process."
Voters told FOX 11 Tuesday morning the process was smooth sailing.
"It only took about 10 minutes, so it wasn't that bad."
"It was very quick and easy," said Matthew Petersen. "It was a big buildup this year, but it only took me five minutes to vote."
There are just under 4,000 people eligible to vote in the Town of Ledgeview, and poll workers say they're expecting a big turnout.
"I feel that we have to vote," said Lyle Jenssen. "It's something everyone should do."
