2nd annual Africa Hope Run

De Pere - The 2nd annual Africa Hope Run kicks off October 22, 2011.

The race is being held at East De Pere High School.

- Strollers start at 7:50 a.m.

- 10K run/walk at 8:00 a.m.

- 5K run/walk at 8:05 a.m.

Racers will get a goodie bag with a long-sleeve T-shirt, cookies, bagels, and more.

The cost to participate is $30 for adults and $20 for children.

All proceeds from the race will be used to provide clean water, food, education and medical care to AIDs orphans and the poor in Malawi in Africa.

Online registration closes October 19, but you can still register in person on race day.
