Zesty Hot Sausage Dip
Ingredients:
1 package Jimmy Dean sausage crumbles
1 can diced tomatoes and green chilis
1 8 oz block cream cheese, room temperature
1 16 oz container sour cream
Directions:
Heat sausage and tomatoes in a sauce pan. When warm, add cream cheese, stirring occasionally until melted. Once the cheese is melted, add container of sour cream. heat until simmering, but do not let boil. Move to a mini-crock pot to keep warm. Serve with tortilla chips.
Quarterback Scramble Snack Mix
Ingredients:
8-9 cups assorted chex cereal
1-1.5 cups Beer Nuts
1 package taco seasoning
1/3 to 1/2 c. dry jerky (or more according to taste)
1/4 c. yellow American Dry Cheese (popcorn cheese)
1 stick butter
Directions:
Melt butter and mix with taco seasoning. Pour over cereal and nut mixture. Pour in jelly roll pan. Bake at 250 for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Add jerky and yellow dry cheese. Bake for an additional 15 minutes. Dry on paper towels. Keep in a sealed container to maintain freshness.
