3-D TV
85 ESPN programs will be in 3-D this year. This new way to watch sports begins on June 11 with a World Cup match up between South Africa and Mexico. You'll need a 3-D TV to view it, along with the fashionable glasses. Normal HD TV's can't display 3-D so you'll have to buy a new TV. Expect to shell out around three thousand dollars for a set that can display the soccer match. Yeah.... I'm not getting one either. I wonder if local sports bars will have one?
New Apps store for Verizon customers
Starting Monday March 29th the V Cast Apps store will open in cyberspace. This will allow Blackberry owners on the Verizon network to download more apps. Eventually Android phones will be able to do the same. The app count is starting around 300, but that count is expected in increase as developers are hard at work making more. If you buy a new app you will be charged through your phone bill.
