Higgins' Hints: Watch your computer on your TV

If you have a “newer” laptop you can hook it up to your HD TV.  You can share photos on the big screen and even play music and movies.

There are plenty of ways to hook a computer up to a TV.  The easiest and most reliable is through an HDMI cable.  Now your computer must have HDMI output and your TV must have an HDMI input.  Take an HDMI cable and connect the two, and Ta-Da, your computer screen is visible on your TV.

6 to 10 foot HDMI cables will run you from 10-30 bucks.  Don’t buy more expensive HDMI cables, there will be no difference in sound or picture, but your wallet will get a lot lighter.
