Higgins' Hints: Block yahoo! messenger spam on your phone

Block yahoo! messenger spam on your cell phone, It's this weeks Higgins' Hints.

I've been getting a lot of spam texts to my phone from Yahoo! messenger accounts.  Lots of them say "Heyy Doug!! you look cute in your facebook pic!........."  I find these completely annoying.  I know I'm not cute on Facebook!  So lets block these accounts!

If you have Verizon as your carrier simply text the words "block all" to 92466.  This will block all text messages from Yahoo! messenger. 

If you want to block a specific user of Yahoo! messenger text their Yahoo! ID to 92466.

If you changed your mind and want to receive Yahoo! messenger text just send "unblock all" to 92466

AT&T allows you to report spam.  Just forward the spam message to 7726.

If you have a different cell carrier just call them and ask how to block text spam, they all have ways to block spam.
