You make a difference in the life of a senior this holiday season.

Now through December 7, 2012, trees are located at area Walgreen's stores with ornaments that carry the first names of seniors and gift suggestions.

Holiday shoppers are encouraged to pick up an ornament, but the items listed, return them, unwrapped, to the store, with the ornament attached.

All the gifts will be delivered to area seniors over the holidays.

Since it began in 2004, the "Be a Santa to a Senior" program has delivered 1.5 million gifts to needy seniors throughout North America.  In northeast Wisconsin, 3,600 gifts were distributed to 1,200 seniors in 2011 alone.
