Kids encouraged to bike to school

As part of bike to work week, many Northeast Wisconsin schools are taking part in bike to school day, which is Thursday, May 20th.

The Regional Safety Routes to School Program promotes bike safety and encourages kids to participate in this event.

Bike to school day events include:
* Bike rodeos
* Bike safety taught in Physical Education classes
* Announcements with bike safety tips
* Mov-a-thon
* Encourage students and parents to bike to school
