The Catholic Church is hoping to have a new leader by Easter.

Pope Benedict the 16th announced Monday, that he'll resign at the end of the month.

It was a surprising announcement for many people. because a pope hasn't resigned in 600 years.

Bishop David Ricken of the Green Bay Catholic Diocese joined us  in the studio during Good Day Wisconsin Tuesday morning to talk about the resignation.

Click on the video link for his interview with Pete Petoniak.
