The Green Bay Gamblers are getting ready for Friday's mitten toss game at the Resch Center.
After the Gamblers score their first goal, fans will be asked to throw mittens onto the ice.
Those mittens will be collected and given to elementary schools in Green Bay to help keep children's hands warm.
Last season's mitten toss, a record 1,238 mittens were collected.
The mitten toss game is Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
Head coach Derek Lalonde along with some of the players joined Good Day Wisconsin Thursday to talk more about how the season is going as well as goals for the team.
