Gas station drive-thrus popular

APPLETON - Need to make a quick stop for a gallon of milk? 

A quart of motor oil?

Express Convenience Centers is making that task easier by adding a second drive-thru service at one of its gas stations in Appleton.

The newest drive-thru is located at the Express on Ballard Road.

Managers say anything you need in the store can be bought through the drive-up window, with employees fetching the items for you. 

Angela Kelly paid it a visit to see how it works and even wait on a few customers, for Friday's Good Day Wisconsin.

Express Convenience Center's other drive-thru location is on Memorial Drive in Appleton. That location was opened in December of 2007.

Managers say they are averaging 140 drive-thru customers there per day.
