KAUKAUNA - It's the day many anglers have been waiting for!

Opening day for inland fishing in Wisconsin is Saturday, and there are some new gadgets anglers may want to pack in their boats this season.

Don Kirby, manager at Gander Mountain in Howard, says the "Clackin' Rap" by Rapala will definitely be a hot seller.

"It has a metal container inside the lure with a ball bearing, " says Kirby.  "When it moves, the sound and vibrations given off by the rattling ball inside that lure will help attract the fish."

Kirby also stresses safety when heading out fishing this weekend.  He says it's important to remember life jackets, a fire extinguisher and lights for your boat.
