OSHKOSH - It was a crazy week of weather. So how do ice conditions look on Lake Winnebago?
FOX 11's Emily Deem spent Friday morning with a local ice expert who monitors the lake.
Don Herman with Sunk? Dive & Ice Service posted an ice update on January, 28.
From Sunk?'s Facebook page:
ICE UPDATE: Still open holes along the west shore in various spots. People are driving out off of Pike.
People are taking four wheelers off from Quinney but do not travel south because there is a big crack.
PROCEED WITH CAUTION! More updates to come soon.
Many fishing clubs had to cancel or postpone winter events due to dangerous ice conditions.
The Otter Street Fishing Club will still have its Fisheree this weekend at Menominee Park in Oshkosh. For more information about that event click here.
