Kaukauna students pay tribute to vets

KAUKAUNA - Veterans Day is Sunday, November 11.

In Kaukauna, veterans will be honored at Kaukauna Veterans Memorial Park.

The memorial was created by students from Kaukauna High School. The project began more than four years ago.

The students raised $80,000 and enlisted the help of local landscapers and other businesses to help make it happen.

An official dedication ceremony for the new memorial was held in late October.
