A Suamico man is sharing his message of organ donation after receiving a new heart one year ago.

Bill Verdonik long suffered from a heart condition, an thanks to organ donation, he now has a new heart.

Bill says he hasn't met the donor family, but would like to.

In Wisconsin, there are currently about 1,800 people on the waiting list for a donated organ.
