Extreme athlete Dane Rauschenberg will be in town tonight to speak at the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon Kick-off Party. Rauschenberg is known for running a marathon every weekend during 2006.

Rauschenberg also ran the 202-mile American Odyssey Relay solo in 2010 and ran the length of the Oregon coast, 350 miles, in seven days in 2012.

You can hear him talk tonight (Wednesday January 9th) at Green Bay Distillery at 835 Potts Avenue in Ashwaubenon.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Program begins at 6 p.m.

It is free and registration is not required

The Prevea Sports Medicine team will give a presentation at 5:15 p.m. about staying on course and away from doctors during training. Prevea will also provide interactive RunCoach tutorials and hand out free training guides. Prevea training team apparel will be available for purchase.

The 14th annual Cellcom Green Bay Marathon will take place on May 17-19, 2013. Over the past 13 years, the race has generated over $674,000 in proceeds for local charities
