Green Bay - Come take part in the 17th Annual Community Celebration of Doctor Martin Luther King Junior's Birthday at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
It will take place Saturday, January 14, inside the student center from 10:30 until Noon.
This year's theme is "Reflecting Back, Looking Forward."
Alem Asres, the co-chair of the Brown County Martin Luther King Junior Celebration Committee joined us on Good Day Wisconsin to talk about the annual event.
He also brought with him, the Nia African and African-American Drummers and Dancers, a UW-Green Bay and community-based group who will be performing at the event.
