GRAND CHUTE - Culinary students at Fox Valley Technical College are getting a one-up on their education, with the campus adding the state's first-ever, multi-media demonstration cooking theater.
It's called Jones Dairy Farm Culinary Theater at Fox Valley Technical College.
The space features tiered seating, high-tech kitchen equipment, video cameras, projection screens and more. Chefs, instructors and other food experts can use the space to demonstrate cooking, culinary techniques, products and more to as many as 120 students at a time.
The cooking theater cost approximately $1.8 million to build and was funded mostly in party by private donations.
FOX 11's Angela Kelly got a tour of the cooking theater for Thursday's Good Day Wisconsin. Click on the video links to your left to view the segments.
