Two new sculptures have been added to the Mariners Trail between Two Rivers and Manitowoc.
The two new sculptures are Enchanting Myth, a whimsical fish by Two Rivers artist Brenda Burtard and On Eagles Wings, a steel eagle by Green Bay artist Carl Vanderheyden.
The 5.5 mile trail along the shore of Lake Michigan offers a paved surface for walkers, joggers, bikers and rollerbladers. Dogs are welcome, however dog owners are asked to keep their pets on a leash and clean up after them.
Parking is available at both ends of the trail and numerous waysides along the trail.
Restrooms are available on the trail just north of the Manitowoc Marina, at the Woodland Drive wayside and at several restaurants along the trail.
