Progressive Agriculture Safety Day

Progressive Agriculture Safety Day is Tuesday, July 27 at the Calumet County Fairgrounds.

According to Affinity Health,

Calumet Medical Center's Progressive Agriculture Safety Day™ an injury prevention program for children that addresses home, outdoors and agricultural topics. Learning stations planned for the 2010 Safety Day include Farm Equipment Safety, Farm Animal Awareness, Hidden Hazards/Flowing Grain, Farm Injuries, Chemical Awareness, Water Safety, Severe Weather Awareness, Firearms Safety, Household Electricity and Bullying. The Safety Day will be filled with hands-on activities and exciting presentations designed to drive the messages of safety and health home with the participants.
