Thrifty crafter Trish Baynton joined Good Day Wisconsin to share some fall craft ideas.
Painted Acorns
Supplies
-Vase
-Acorns
-Acrylic Paint (two colors, one for the tops and one for the bottoms)
Wash acorns off and let dry completely. After dry paint the tops of the acorns then let dry. Once they are dry begin to the bottoms, let dry. Fill clear vase and enjoy!
Leaf Art
Supplies
- Canvas (any size you'd like)
- Acrylic Paint
- Sponge paint brushes
- Glue
- Leaves
Collect enough fresh, not dried leafs to cover your canvas. Then begin to sponge brush the paint onto the the front and back of the leaf. Once paint is dry start to sponge brush glue on one side of the leaf and press them on, making sure to cover the entire canvas.
