Tips for making a personalized gift

Good Day Wisconsin producer Tosha Herrman joined the show Thursday to show viewers how to turn a photograph and a glass plate into a unique, homemade gift.

The craft project included items like photographs, clear glass plates, decorative paper, decoupage.  Jazz the plates up by adding a pretty bow, ribbon, or flowers.  You can attach the extra elements using a hot-glue gun.

Make matching wine glasses or bowls too!  The same technique can be used on just about anything!

You can find some examples of completed plates by clicking the photo tab to the left.
