The UW-Green Bay Phoenix Men's basketball team is getting ready to black out cancer.
The Phoenix will wear special black uniforms during its home game Saturday against UW-Milwaukee.
The team is partnering with Bellin Health and Broadway Automotive for the fundraiser.
Some of the jerseys will be either raffled or auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the Patient Assistance Fund at The Cancer Team at Bellin Health.
Want to Help Black Out Cancer? “Like” Broadway Automotive on Facebook and they’ll donate $5 to the cause for every new like!
Coach Brian Wardle joined Good Day Wisconsin Thursday morning to talk about his team and the black uniforms the players will wear on Saturday at the Resch Center.
