Twitter introduces 'Lists' function

Here's how Twitter lists work:

Instead of having one long stream of updates from everyone you follow, you can organize your contacts into groups. On the FOX 11 account, we've created several lists by theme. For example, we have a list of health care accounts, and a list of local schools.

To add an account to a list, click on the "Lists" icon and select the list you'd like to add it to. One of the advantages is you don't need to be following an account to add it to a list.

You can also create a new list using the icon. One of the key features of lists is, other users can follow them. For example, you can follow the lists we've created at FOX 11.

To see the lists we've created at FOX 11, just head to fox11online.com. Click on "Good Day WI," and then on "Web Watch Links."
