Get school closing alerts

We're taking away some of the snow day headaches at FOX 11 by letting you know as soon as we know your school is closed.

To find the list of current closings and delays, log on to fox11online.com.  Hold your mouse over the "Weather" link, then click on "Closings."  You can see the live list of school closings anytime, and if you scroll down, you'll find out how to sign up to get alerts sent right to your e-mail or cell phone.

Just fill in the information.  You can pick which school district you want to monitor and you can decide whether you want the alerts by e-mail, text message, or both.  Then, when your child's school is closed, we'll send you a message so you'll be among the first to know.

And of course you can always check the "old-fashioned" way by watching Good Day Wisconsin.
