Feta and Pecan Stuffed Pear

Ingredients:

4 pecan halves, chopped
2 Tbl no sugar added apple juice
1/8 tsp almond extract
2 Tbl honey
1 pear
1 oz reduced fat feta cheese
 
Directions:
 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk together apple juice, almond extract and honey in saute pan. Cut pear in half and remove core. Place pear halves, flesh side down, and cook for about 5 minutes. Transfer pears to serving plate leaving juice behind. Top pears with feta. Pour juice over pears and top with pecans.
