Recipe from Sarah Guenther.
Ingredients:
1 pound bacon, cooked (fry)
1 onion, chopped
1 can garbanzo beans
2 cans butter beans
1 can Busch Beans
1 can lima beans
1/4-1/2 cup bacon grease
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup Maple syrup
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tsp Uncle Phil's sweet and sassy mustard
1 Tbsp vinegar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
Fry bacon in frying pan, until brown, remove bacon, let cool and chop into bite size pieces. Sauté chopped onion in reserved bacon grease until brown, drain onions from bacon grease and set aside, save bacon grease. In a 5 quart casserole dish add all the cans of beans. In a small bowl combine left over bacon grease, brown sugar, maple syrup, ketchup, mustard, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. Add sautéd onions, chopped bacon, and brown sugar mixture to beans in casserole dish. Mix thoroughly. Bake at 350 for about two hours. Last hour uncover, to thicken.
