Krispie Football Field

Recipe from Happy Cookie Lady.

Ingredients:

3 Tbsp butter or margarine
4 cups mini marshmallows or 10 oz bag regular marshmallows
6 c ups Rice Krispies cereal
1 Can frosting - w hite
decorating gel - red
Food color - green
11 candies ( kisses, or other smaller chocolates)
11 candies ( other colored chocolate o r o ther candy, could use pecan or walnut halves as well)

Directions:

In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

Add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.

Using buttered spatula or wa x paper , evenly press mixture into 13 X 9 X 2 inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cool. Remove abo ut 1/4 of the frosting from the can of frosting. Color the remaining frosting in the can green with the food color.

Spread the pan of Rice Krispie treats with the green frosting. Using a decorated gun, or zip lock bag with hole cut in it, pipe the yard lines on the green field with the white frosting. Line up the 2 different groups of 11 candies/nuts for the players. Dra w play lines on the field with the red icing. Cut into 2 inch squares. Best if served the same day.
