Recipe from Village Green Lodge.
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
1 tablespoon molasses
2 teaspoons maple extract
2 large eggs
1 3/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 /2 teaspoon salt
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups crisp rice cereal
6 ounce package butterscotch chips
Directions:
In large bowl, cream sugars and butter till light and fluffy. Add molasses, maple and eggs. Mix well.
Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Mix until well blended. By hand stir in oats, cereal and butterscotch chips.
Drop by teaspoons onto baking sheets. Bake 8-12 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
