Ingredients:
1 box family size brownie mix (9 x 13 inch), prepared according to pkg. directions and cooled
2 boxes (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
2 3/4 cups cold cold milk
1 tablespoon instant espresso
1/4 cup boiling water
12 ounce container whipped topping, thawed
chocolate syrup or hot fudge sauce,chocolate covered beans or mini chocolate chips for garnish
Directions:
Cut brownies into small 1 to 2 inch squares. In a large bowl mix together the pudding mix and milk for about 2 minutes or until mixture thickens.
Mix together espresso and water. Add dissolved espresso mix to pudding mixture and stir gently to blend.
Fold all but about 1/4 of the whipped topping. Place about 1/3 of the brownie cubes in bottom of trifle dish or clear glass bowl. Drizzle brownies with a little chocolate syrup or hot fudge sauce. Top the brownies with 1/3 of the pudding mixture.
Repeat layers two more times. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least a few hours before serving. Right before serving uncover and top with a large cloud of the remaning whipped topping. Drizzle chocolate syrup or fudge sauce on top. Decorate the top with a few chocolate covered espresso beans or chocolate chips.
