Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup peanuts (optional)
Directions:
Cream butter and peanut butter until smooth. Add granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla and mix to combine. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour, baking powder, soda, salt and peanuts (optional); mix until combined. Scoop cookies onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Using a fork dipped in flour, make a cross pattern on the top of each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 15 minutes. Cool completely before removing from sheet pan.
