Praline Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients:

2 (40 ounce) cans sweet potatoes in light syrup

3/4 cup butter

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

3/4 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut (optional)

3/4 to 1 cup min marshmallows

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350.  Grease a glass casserole dish with cooking spray.  Drain the light syrup from the potatoes and put potatoes in baking dish.  In a medium size saucepan, melt butter.  Add seasonings and brown sugar, stir until well blended.  Add pecans and coconut and mix to coat.  Pour melted butter mixture over potatoes.  Sprinkle with marshmallows.  Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes.  Throw it in the oven at whatever temperature you're cooking everything else at for Thanksgiving, just keep an eye on it at higher temps as the brown sugar might burn.
