CRIVITZ, Wis. (AP) - Authorities have unearthed human remains in the village of Crivitz and are now trying to determine their origin.
The Crivitz Police Department says a tip led them to the remains.
Evidence from the scene has been sent to the state crime lab for analysis. Authorities say the bones were found near a cemetery and have been buried for at least eight years. They believe there's no danger to the public.
Crivitz is about 50 miles north of Green Bay.
