Laura Ingalls Wilder Day is Saturday

ALLOUEZ - Laura Ingalls Wilder Day takes place Saturday at Heritage Hill.

It includes activities like making bullets, rug braiding, historic dancing and more.

There will also be a Laura and Almanzo look-a-like contest, once at 11 a.m. and then again at 3 p.m.

Dean Butler, the actor who played Almanzo, on "Little House on the Prairie" is also making a special appearance.

"Being here at this place, at Heritage Hill provides a wonderful illustration to the kind of life that Laura Ingalls Wilder lived," said Butler.

Laura Ingalls Wilder Day takes place Saturday from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
