APPLETON - A 20-year-old man charged in a drive-by shooting in the town of Buchanan is facing charges in two other shooting incidents.
Appleton police say Andrew Burwitz fired 20 plus gunshots into a wooded area off of Quest Drive and shot at a house in the 3200 block of Tahoe Drive. They say the single bullet entered the house through a window, went through a wall, and struck several pieces of furniture. No one was injured in the shootings.
Authorities say both incidents happened on Appleton’s south side on Monday between 1:00 a.m. and 1:45 a.m.
Burwitz is facing multiple charges including intoxicated use of
a firearm and 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety. The charges
have been forwarded to the Calumet County District Attorney.
