Man charged in drive-by shooting

APPLETON - The man who was arrested for a drive-by shooting near Appleton was in an Outagamie County court room Wednesday.

Police arrested 20-year-old Andrew Burwitz last night.

He has been charged with four counts of recklessly endangering safety, as well as property damage.

Authorities say Burwitz fired shots at a house on Meadow Breeze Court in the town of Buchanan.

Residents were home at the time, but no one was hurt.
