Dodge County Huber inmate dead

DODGE COUNTY - Dodge County sheriff’s officials say an inmate is dead after being found unconscious in cell Friday afternoon.

The 34-year-old Hartford man was on work release at the Dodge County Detention Facility – Huber Facility.

Officers tried to resuscitate the inmate until rescue crews arrived. The man was transported to the Beaver Dam Community Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

At this time foul play is not suspected. The investigation is ongoing.
