A man believed to be responsible for several robberies in Northeast Wisconsin has been charged.

Chad Gagnon was taken into custody over the weekend.

He's been charged in Oconto County with armed robbery and theft. He is also awaiting charges in Brown County.

Within the last six weeks, police say Gagnon robbed gas stations in Pensaukee, Sobieski, and Pulaski.

Gagnon was linked to the robberies after family members identified him on surveillance footage.

In September, Oconto County authorities listed Gagnon as a suspect.

Green Bay police were able to make the arrest after spotting his vehicle in a parking lot of a Motel 6.
