Brown County health officials have announced their first H1N1 flu vaccine clinics. Only the following individuals are eligible to attend this clinic:
• Pregnant women
• Persons who live with or provide care for infants less than six months old
• Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel who provide direct patient care
• Children aged 6 months to 4 years
• Children and adolescents aged 5-18 years who have medical conditions that place them at higher risk for influenza-related complications.
The clinics will be free of charge and will be held the following dates:
• Thursday, November 12 from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at the Brown County Veterans Arena.
• Friday, November 13 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Oneida Nation Elementary School located at N7125 Seminary Road in Oneida.
Other clinics are tentatively scheduled for:
• Saturday, November 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brown County Veterans Arena.
• Saturday, November 14 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at Oneida Nation Elementary School.
These clinics are dependent on vaccine availability.
* The Brown County Health Department has canceled its regularly scheduled immunization clinic for Thursday, November 12th for 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
