Gray wolf spotted in Manitowoc Co.

MANITOWOC COUNTY - The DNR confirms a gray wolf has been spotted in northern Manitowoc County.

A resident took pictures of the animal earlier this month and sent them to the DNR.

This is the first wolf spotted in Manitowoc County since last winter.

The DNR says there are wolf packs in Oconto and Shawano Counties.

However, lone wolves could be moving throughout Northeast Wisconsin.
