Teen could be charged as adult

WAUSHARA COUNTY - A 15-year-old boy facing juvenile charges in the death of his friend could be charged as an adult.

In August, Shane Zweck died from a gunshot at a home in Redgranite.

Police say they are not identifying the boy charged in the shooting because he is a minor.

But while in a Waushara County courtroom Tuesday, prosecutors asked for the case to be moved to adult court.

A hearing is set for December.
