One killed in crash in Dodge County

TOWN OF ELBA - A 37-year-old man was killed when his pickup truck rolled over and was struck by a semi Friday morning on Highway 151 in Dodge County.

The crash happened just after 3 a.m. near the intersection of 151 and Maier Road, just northeast of Columbus.

The sheriff's department said Cornelio Rodriguez of rural Beaver Dam was driving his pickup southbound when he drifted into the shoulder on the median side. Rodriguez swerved back into the southbound lanes, tried to correct his spin and swerved abruptly into the median shoulder again, causing the vehicle to go into a clockwise spin. The pickup overturned and spun down the southbound lanes of 151, coming to rest on the driver's side.
