MADISON, Wis. (AP) - The Wisconsin Badgers will no longer print media guides for its sports teams to save money.
Athletics Director Barry Alvarez said Thursday the decision is effective immediately and should save the department up to $200,000.
The school had been printing the guides, which contain biographical, statistical and other information about players and teams, for more than 60 years.
Alvarez said the information will be available through the department's Web site, UWBadgers.com.
Michigan and Ohio State announced earlier Thursday they would no longer print media guides, either.
