MILWAUKEE (AP) - "American Idol" finalist and Milwaukee native Danny Gokey will be performing at the Bucks game Saturday.
The 29-year-old former church music director is singing the national anthem for that night's home opener against Detroit. He will also perform at halftime.
19 Recordings/RCA Records Nashville announced in September that Gokey signed a contract with them to record country music. The company has said it expects the album to be released next year.
Gokey finished in the final three on the popular singing show. He performed with the American Idols Live! Tour 2009 this summer.
